INFORMATION supplied by eShowe SAPS communication officer, Const Zama Magwaza, regarding the protest at Fowler Farm in Nkwalini last week, appears to have been incorrect.

There is no restriction on the number of employees who can resume their agricultural duties under Level 4 of the Covid-19 restrictions.
There were only 17 employees involved in the protest, and not 60 as was reported.
The number of workers on the farm in 2019 was 271, and this has been increased to 287.
Concerns of the community members are being investigated and will be dealt with internally.
