Free online leadership seminar for Zululand businesses

The free online workshop, open to members and non-members, will be conducted by Skill Up  Training Centre on the Zoom app on 18 May from 9.30am to 11.30am

WITH the Covid-19 pandemic presenting a number of challenges for businesses, skills development has become vital for many leading a workforce.

The Zululand branch of the Businesswomen’s Association (BWA) will host an online seminar to equip local business leaders with the relevant skills to navigate through these challenges and how to adapt to the workplace post the coronavirus.

The free online workshop, open to members and non-members, will be conducted by Skill Up  Training Centre on the Zoom app on 18 May from 9.30am to 11.30am.

It has been designed to help leaders reach their full potential and obtain extraordinary results.

The course will enhance a person’s ability to communicate with others in meetings and through presentations, as well as provide ways to prepare for and embrace the forces of change.

• Peter Senge’s learning disciplines

• What leadership is and is not

• Kouzes and Posner’s five leadership practices

• Core skills in communication, body language, delegation, meetings and time management

• Understanding the trust cycle and building trust

• Managing change

• Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis and problem solving

• Giving effective, constructive feedback

• Building good relationships
