Richards Bay police ops yield results

Police spokesperson, Captain Debbie Ferreira, said a 40-year-old woman was arrested on Friday after being found in possession of drugs, while two other suspects were linked to housebreaking and theft cases

POLICE operations on Workers’ Day yielded good outcomes as Richards Bay SAPS made several arrests pertaining to the possession of unlicensed ammunition, housebreaking, theft and common robbery cases in Brackenham.

Police spokesperson, Captain Debbie Ferreira, said a 40-year-old woman was arrested on Friday after being found in possession of drugs, while two other suspects were linked to housebreaking and theft cases.

A 60-year-old man was arrested for the possession of unlicensed ammunition.

While police continue to enforce lockdown regulations under level four, they are still monitoring and following up on all other criminal cases as well.
