Richards Bay fitness duo’s lockdown workout challenge halfway through
With the challenge only halfway completed, 12 hours still remain for those who are yet to donate to this worthy cause
TWELVE hours down, but still 12 to go for fitness fundis Stacey Pretorius and Melanie van Rooyen’s lockdown workout challenge for charity.
After completing the first half of their challenge since 3am this morning (Friday), the determined duo was still going full throttle this afternoon and are well on track to finish at 3am tomorrow.
Stacey and Melanie’s challenge has seen them each do a pre-planned workout every hour, on the hour from their homes, and they have roped in as many of their friends and fellow fitness fanatics as possible.
They are updating their progress every hour on both Instagram and Facebook so the greater Zululand community can follow the challenge.

The aim of the challenge is to raise funds for the needy and vulnerable communities who need food and other basic essentials during this time of lockdown.
Funds raised go directly to The Ark shelters for the homeless.
With the challenge only halfway completed, 12 hours still remain for those who are yet to donate to this worthy cause.
Stacey and Melanie are asking that those who are willing and able, to donate R250 which goes to The Ark for food packs.
