The eSikhaleni SaMAQHAWE non-profit organisation, under the umbrella of eSikhaleni Assembly of God church, hand out food and anti-bacterial soap to the needy

COMMUNITY members and non-profit organisations have stepped up to offer a helping hand to vulnerable members of society struggling to survive during the current national lockdown.

Karl and Lynette Dunn of Gentle Touch Foundation have been distributing freshly prepared meals and food parcels to vulnerable groups in Richards Bay and Empangeni

A food hamper drive led by Ward 26 councillor, Leslie Joseph, and ward welfare portfolio committee member, Jasper Yenkiah, was well supported by community organisations, residents and local businesses who teamed up to collect non-perishable food donations and distribute 65 hampers to families in need in Aquadene, Brackenham and Nsezi
