
THE KwaMbonambi cricket side celebrated winning the First Division Saturday 24 Over League by beating Empangeni Rugby Club by nine wickets in the final at Kwambo on Saturday.
Empangeni was bowled out for 105 and the home side reached the total for the loss of one wicket in the 11.5th over.
Probably the oldest player in the country still playing first league cricket, Errol Boullé (70), is hoisted up by his team-mates in special recognition of his sterling contributions to the team’s success.
