KwaMsane cops hunt murder suspect
A case of murder against a suspect who allegedly shot and killed a man in Mnqayiza in the Machibini area has been opened
KWAMSANE police have opened a case of murder against a suspect who allegedly shot and killed a man in Mnqayiza in the Machibini area, last week.
According to the police report, Mnqobi Ndwandwe (38) was shot and killed while walking with his brother to his home while being followed by the suspect.
‘The suspect shouted at them, ordering them to turn around and go back to the place from where they came.
Gunshots were heard being fired by the suspect in the direction of the victim.
‘The deceased was shot once in the neck and his brother managed to run for his life. The victim was taken to Hlabisa Hospital for treatment, but succumbed to his injury on Monday.
‘His body has been transferred to Mtubatuba government mortuary. The suspect is still at large,’ said the police.
