AN Empangeni teenager was knocked over by a vehicle as he attempted to cross the busy R34 in Empangeni on Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at about 1.30pm.
Mounties Emergency Services paramedics attended the scene and stabilised the 14-year-old boy before transporting him to Ngwelezana Hospital in a critical, but stable condition.
