THREE security guards of a cash-in-transit vehicle were lucky to escape with only minor injuries last night (Monday) after their vehicle came under attack.
Explosives were used to gain entry to the vehicle and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.
The incident occurred at about 7:30pm on the R66 between Dokodweni and Gingindlovu.
