KZN Social Development Department spokesperson, Mhlaba Memela, urged communities to make use of social workers to help resolve any issues worrying them

THE suicide of a Mfekayi Reserve man has shocked the community.

According to KwaMsane police, 37-year old Thembinkosi Dubazane hanged himself.

He left a note addressed to his family and girlfriend.

KZN Social Development Department spokesperson, Mhlaba Memela, urged communities to make use of social workers to help resolve any issues worrying them.

‘We understand that at some stage men, by their very nature, do not share their problems with anyone. They should learn to speak out and seek help.

‘Committing suicide has never been a solution to resolving personal problems,’ he said.

An inquest docket has been opened at the KwaMsane police station.
