AN intelligence-driven operation by Ulundi police resulted in the recovery of a stolen bakkie and the arrest of a suspect on Friday.
Zululand Police Cluster spokesperson, Captain Nkosie Gwala, said their preliminary investigation revealed that the white Nissan bakkie was reported stolen in Gauteng.
The operation was conducted at the Zondela township in Ulundi.
Gwala said the suspect appeared in Ulundi Magistrate’s Court on Monday and was remanded in police custody until next Monday for a formal bail application.
