Richards Bay meter taxi driver hijacked

THE vehicle of a meter taxi driver hijacked in Arboretum on Saturday night has not yet been recovered.

Richards Bay SAPS Communications Officer, Capt Debbie Ferreira, said the complainant was transporting two passengers to the area in the vicinity of Richtek campus at about 10.30pm when the commuters held him up at gunpoint.

They forced the driver out and fled in his vehicle.
