Cops bust whoonga dealer

A whoonga drug dealer was arrested on Monday afternoon in Mtubatuba CBD, by Mtubatuba police who were patrolling the town.

According to Captain Hlabisa, police caught a 40-year-old woman red-handed with a drug parcel after receiving an anonymous tip-off.

‘Police received information about a woman who was busy selling whoonga in town. When they rushed to the scene, they recovered whoonga, the amount of R2 439 in cash and 24 rock drugs with a street value of R1 130.

‘Police arrested her on the scene last Monday and she appeared at the Mtubatuba Magistrate Court,’ said Hlabisa.
