They may have lost head coach Brandon Truter over the weekend, but Richards Bay FC responded in the best way possible with a 1-0 win over Jomo Cosmos in their away game on Sunday.

The NRB club has the luxury on knowing their reliable and experienced assistant coach Sello Ntuli – who remains undefeated as a caretaker – is always available to plug the gaps between the comings and goings of head coaches.

He did it again, urging his boys on to yet another superb clean sheet and with Bayzel Goldstone netting in the 71st minute, the three points were in the bag.

Bookies had made the home side firm favourites to win at the Vosloorus Stadium, but Richards Bay rose to the occasion to maintain their unbeaten run after three wins and two draws.
