EMPANGENI detectives are looking for Bongani Paulos Mdletshe (31) of Isigisi Reserve under Madlebe Tribal Authority in connection with a case of attempted murder which occurred in March this year.
King Cetshwayo Cluster spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, said that on Sunday 31 March, Mdletshe was reportedly with his girlfriend in Empangeni when he allegedly assaulted her with a blunt heavy iron on her face and body.
‘The victim sustained severe multiple injuries. We have obtained a warrant of arrest against him.
‘Mdletshe is on the run and we urge anyone with information of his whereabouts to contact the Investigating Officer, Detective Constable Thokozane Dube on 083 2776529 or 035 9071940 or call a nearest police station,’ said Mdlalose.
