A CASE of murder is under investigation by KwaMsane police following a fatal stabbing in one of the local taverns on Sunday night.
A 28-year-old man, Mbuso Gumede, was stabbed to death with a spear following a heated argument.
Police spokesperson, Captain Jabulani Mdletshe, said the incident occurred at Osama Tavern in Bhekamandla Reserve.
‘During the argument a man armed with a spear chased Gumede around the tavern building, caught up with him near the gate and stabbed him once.
‘Gumede was declared dead at the scene. A case of murder was opened at KwaMsane SAPS for investigation and the suspect is still at large,’ said Mdletshe.
