THE KwaMbonambi Stock Theft Unit arrested two suspects for stock theft during an operation on the R102 near Mtunzini on Friday last week.
Police spotted a vehicle transporting cattle and pulled it over.
Police spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala, said six cattle were found in the vehicle.
‘When police questioned the suspects, they failed to explain how they came to be in possession of the cattle.
‘Both suspects, aged 32 and 39, were arrested,’ said Gwala.
They will appear in the Mtunzini Magistrate’s Court soon.
