ALERT: Richards Bay power outage

A POWER outage affecting several areas in Richards Bay including the CBD, Arboretum and Veldenvlei is expected to be restored in about five hours time.

According to the City of uMhlathuze, the power interruptions are owing to a fault in a substation and the maintenance team is currently on the ground fixing the problem.

‘We will update the public on any developments. We apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result,’ said City’s Communications Manager Mdu Ncalane.
