Man’s body found near Amatikulu

THE body of a 34-year-old man was recovered by the Empangeni Rescue Dive Unit and the K9 Rescue Unit last Wednesday.

The body was found on the beach in the Amatikulu area, 23km north of where the man was reported missing on 19 May at the uThukela River mouth.

An inquest docket has been opened to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
