Three nabbed with stolen goods in Nkodibe area

THE KwaMsane Special Unit, focusing on burglary cases, arrested five suspects for possession of stolen goods on Saturday in the Nkodibe area.

The Unit was formed to deal with the scourge of house break-ins and theft at KwaMsane and surrounds.

uMkhanyakude Police Cluster spokesperson, Captain Jabulani Mdletshe, said suspects aged between 30 and 33 were found in possession of three television sets, laptops, speakers, amplifier and a mixer.

‘We believe that these goods were stolen from various houses around the area during the house beak-ins,’ he said.

‘We hope that more stolen goods will be recovered.

‘Five suspects appeared at KwaMsane Magistrate’s Court on Monday for possession of stolen property. They were remanded in custody until next week Tuesday for a formal bail application,’ said Mdletshe.
