Richards Bay FC let it slip

It was a game where NRB had nothing to play for and opponents Maccabi had everything to play for as their threat of NFD relegation looms

After scoring in the fifth minute and staying ahead until the 85th, Richards Bay FC conceded two in the space of four minutes for yet another home loss.

It was a game where NRB had nothing to play for and opponents Maccabi had everything to play for as their threat of NFD relegation looms.

Lindo Shangwe’s thunderous strike – possibly the goal of the season for NRB – was nullified by abject lack of communication in the closing minutes.

And while the home boys missed plenty of chances, the result was probably a fair one and just reward for the energy of the visitors.
