Couta thick on the bite
North of Richards Bay produced decent sized honeycombs, diamonds and the occasional shark.
Anglers working the deep along the north coast were rewarded with good catches last week.
Couta have been thick on the menu, with reports of monsters over 20kg being landed.
Shore anglers have brought in decent inedibles.

Bonito has been the best bait, with large bulky baits also doing the trick.
The edible fish up north are best targeted with sea lice or pink prawn, which would produce pompano or stumpies.
