STEVEN Scrase and Dirk Barnard proved too strong for the competition at the fifth leg of the Kenart surfski series held at the Zululand Kayak Club on Saturday morning.
The duo paddled home in 56.02 on the long course (8km) to take top honours, followed by Jacques Labuschagne and Craig Webster.
The next leg takes place on Saturday in Mtunzini.
