Downtime for Home Affairs online system

eHomeAffairs will not be available for clients wishing to apply online for smart ID cards and passports from today

THE Home Affairs online applications portal will be offline until Monday owing to maintenance being conducted on the system.

This was announced by the department today.

‘eHomeAffairs, will not be available for clients wishing to apply online for smart ID cards and passports from today until Monday, 18 March,’ said Minister of Home Affairs spokesman Siya Qoza.

‘Only clients intending to submit new applications online will be affected.

‘All other services, including smart ID cards and passports, will be available at Home Affairs front offices across the country.
