THE Prime Circle concert at Umfolozi Casino Resort on Tuesday was spectacular. The band was amazing, the vibe was rocking and a perfect way to spend a usually boring Tuesday night.
But alas, it seemed most Zululanders would rather sit at home than see a world class band in action.
I am forever hearing people saying ‘nothing ever happens in Empangeni’, but when people go through the trouble to organise top entertainment, people don’t pitch up.
Maybe it was because it was a weeknight, maybe it was the rain, maybe tickets were too expensive… there are always hundreds of excuses.
Well, people who didn’t make the trip to see Prime Circle lost out.
