RICHARDS Bay police and the Crime Intelligence Unit recovered a large consignment of suspected stolen goods, dangerous dependency producing substances and a thermo cam with an estimated R600 000 last week.
According to Richards Bay SAPS spokesperson Captain Debbie Ferreira, a police officer conducting routine patrols on Friday morning received information about drug dealing at a property in Arboretum.
When police visited the premises at 7.15am and conducted a search operation, they found numerous cell phones, laptops, jewellery, electrical appliances and the thermal imaging infrared camera, Flir Thermo Cam.
The Nigerian national, Samuel Agbala (34), was charged with two counts of possession of suspected stolen property and dependency producing substances.
He appeared in the Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody until his bail application on 24 December.

A Job well done to SAPS.
