Blood clinic this weekend in Richards Bay

TO boost blood stocks this weekend, the Richards Bay blood donor centre will be hosting a promotional clinic from tomorrow (Friday) to Sunday, with additional ‘marketers’ stationed at traffic intersections across town to encourage members of the public to donate blood.
The current stock levels are at 3.5 days’ supply and the blood bank needs to bolster stock to a healthy five-day supply.
The donor centre will be open from 9am to 5pm tomorrow and until 3pm on Saturday and Sunday at the Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre to accommodate the regular and new donors.
If you need a quick pick-me-up after donating, SANBS will now offer every blood donor a free Nespresso coffee cup at donor centres across the country.
