THE ANC in KZN has expressed satisfaction on its performances in the by-elections held in Mtubatuba and Alfred Duma (south coast) on Wednesday.
ANC provincial spokesperson, Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu, said the victories were proof that the South Africans electorate still believe in and trust the ANC.
‘Ordinary members of society have once again laid their trust in the party of Nelson Mandela, the first democratic elected president.
‘We extend our appreciation to the voters, and undertake to ensure that the two councillors voted into office do not betray the trust placed upon them.
‘We are committed to making local government work. We continue to monitor the performance of ANC-controlled municipalities to ensure that service delivery is strengthened,’ Simelane-Zulu said.
