'Any positive identification or knowledge of the incident can be reported to Hansie van Roooyen on 076 6782685'

TWO electrical boxes on the Empangeni Rugby Football Club’s A field were vandalised and cables stolen last week.
The boxes supply electricity to the field’s flood lights.

Club President James McIlrath made the discovery when carrying out repairs to a water pump on Thursday morning.

A case of theft was opened at the Empangeni Police Station and investigations are under way.

‘The estimated damage amounts to R130 000,’ said McIlrath.

‘Any positive identification or knowledge of the incident can be reported to Hansie van Roooyen on 076 6782685.’
