NTAMBANANA police have arrested two suspects for murder and defeating the ends of justice, after the body of a 54-year-old man was found with multiple head injuries in the area.
Provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbhele, said the deceased left his homestead on Monday to visit a neighbour.
‘After the discovery of the body on Tuesday morning, a case of murder was opened at Ntambanana police station for investigation.

‘The investigation revealed that when the deceased left his neighbour’s homestead, he was followed by a man, who attacked him with a ‘knobkieriie’ and fled.
‘The attacker handed his bloodied clothes to his sister, who hid them.
‘The suspect (44) was arrested and will be charged with murder. His sister (41) was also arrested and will be charged for defeating the ends of justice.
‘Both suspects will appear at the Ngwelezana Magistrate’s Court soon,’ said Mbhele.
