Truck stuck in Richards Bay sinkhole

A HEAVY goods truck fully laden with pipes is stuck in a sinkhole on Alumina Allee, immediately outside the Engen petrol station.

This has resulted in the closure of the left lane heading towards the CBD, causing traffic to back up.

As at 8.30am, no services were on scene.

Motorists are urged to drive with caution on the wet roads particularly in the vicinity of the incident scene.
