Lion spotted crossing road in Glückstadt near Vryheid

PROFESSIONAL hunters in Zululand District have been tasked to locate two lions spotted along the road towards Glückstadt.

Zululand Police Cluster spokesperson, Captain Nkosie Gwala, said the lions were spotted by a motorist driving past Hennie’s filling station.

‘The motorist reported the matter to Vryheid Police Station. We want to warn the public to be vigilant around the area. We have dispatched professional hunters with permits to locate the lions.

Anyone who comes across the lions is asked to call Vryheid SAPS on 034 9895506.
