Pedestrian killed on N2 near Mtubatuba

BODY parts were strewn across the N2 near Mtubatuba on Saturday night after a pedestrian was knocked over and killed.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the driver of a silver Mercedez Benz hit a woman attempting to cross the road just before 10pm on Saturday evening.

The driver of the vehicle is believed to have been travelling southbound towards Durban.

SAPS are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
