Nongoma man gets 15 years for murder
Dumisani Masondo (26) stabbed Sifundo Sibiya (18) at a local tavern
THE Nongoma Regional Court convicted and sentenced Mbhobho Dumisani Masondo (26), to 15 years imprisonment for murder last Thursday.
The case arises from an incident in the evening of Tuesday, 9 May 2015 when the deceased, Sifundo Sibiya (18), was at a local tavern at Mjeni area, Usuthu, Nongoma.

Sibiya was playing cards when Masondo entered the tavern and took the cards.
Sibiya demanded his cards back and Masondo fatally stabbed him in the chest.
Masondo was arrested at Kwa-Ceza on Wednesday, 10 May and made several court appearance before being sentenced.
