Mayor promises to fast-track service delivery
He said he was focused on delivering on the mandate of the electorates
MTUBATUBA Mayor Velangenkosi Gumede has vowed to improve the lives of rural communities who are still battling to access basic services such as water and electricity and have proper road infrastructure.
He said he was focused on delivering on the mandate of the electorates.
‘When people voted for us, they did so with the hope that we would assist them by implementing service delivery initiatives.
‘We have set aside an amount of more than R8-million for the development of access roads. For many of our communities, it is still a hurdle to reach schools and clinics owing to our poor roads.’
