Local netball team seeks financial support
The players are the Richards Bay Zone U16, King Cetshwayo and KZN schools challenge champions and also recently scooped the Nathi Mthiyane Champions title
THE Tholokuhle High School U16 netball team in Enseleni will represent KZN in a national netball tournament in Gauteng between 19 and 22 July.
The players are the Richards Bay Zone U16, King Cetshwayo and KZN schools challenge champions and also recently scooped the Nathi Mthiyane Champions title.
Their coach ND Buthelezi and Principal VJ Hlatshwayo appeal to the community to assist the team with funds to cover their trip to Boksburg.
‘They are extremely excited at the opportunity to represent the province and it is a dream come true for them,’ said Buthelezi.
Unfortunately the tournament is not funded and the players are from disadvantaged families. The school cannot afford to pay for the trip and anyone who would like to assist with a donation or sponsorship can contact 073 8735238 or 078 0428070.
