Making a difference 67 minutes at a time

A group of Richards Bay residents painted the children's waiting area at Richards Bay Magistrate's Court, giving it a fresh coat of colour

IN a head start to make a difference for International Madiba Day, a group of Richards Bay residents painted the children’s waiting area at Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court, giving it a fresh coat of colour.

Jessica Venter and her sons PJ and Johan together with Captain Debbie Ferreira of the Richards Bay SAPS pledged their 67 minutes of goodwill last week to revamping the ‘kiddies corner’ as well as the office of the court preparation’s  officer as well.

Captain Debbie Ferreira said the family wanted to spend a few hours doing community service and chose to brighten up the court and hopefully encourage others, ahead of Madiba Day, to take on a worthy cause and dedicate their 67 minutes to helping others in the community.
