Beyonce and Jay-Z heading to SA
All you need to do is, starting on 21 August, take action to earn free tickets
US musicians Beyoncé and JAY-Z are heading to South Africa.
The power couple will be among a star-studded line-up to feature at the first Global Citizens Festival to be held in Africa in honour of Nelson Mandela.
The Global Citizen Festival Mandela 100 will be held at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on 2 December.
The festival will also feature Cassper Nyovest, D’banj, Ed Sheeran, Eddie Vedder, Femi Kuti, Pharrell Williams & Chris Martin, Sho Madjozi, Tiwa Savage, Usher and Wizkid, among others.
The hosts for the event will include Naomi Campbell, Bonang Matheba, Sir Bob Geldof, Gayle King, Tyler Perry and Forest Whitaker.
‘As always with Global Citizen festivals, tickets are free.
‘All you need to do is, starting on21 August, take action on the Global Citizen platforms – GlobalCitizen.org.za, in the Global Citizen app, or with our Facebook Messenger bot, search ‘Global Citizen’ in Facebook Messenger to learn more,’ said the organisation.
‘There will also be opportunities for Global Citizens to earn free tickets by taking action in their communities of Johannesburg..
‘And for those who sign up at GlobalCitizen.org.za, you can earn bonus rewards and early access by referring your friends to Global Citizen.
