Etienne Marx wins first prize at 21 Species Fishing Competition

RICHARDS Bay angler Etienne Marx won the first prize at this year’s 21 Species Fishing Competition hosted by the Meerensee Boat Club in Richards Bay last weekend.

Marx took home the R50 000 prize for a couta weighing 34.8kg.

In the ladies’ category, Michelle Brown took first place for her snoek and Mikial Vermaak won first place in the junior category.

The prize giving held on Sunday night after an eventful weekend also featured many lucky draw prizes.
