Cop bust leads to multiple arrests

A SUSPECTED rapist, as well as suspected shop lifters, drug dealers and illegal alcohol merchants were last week arrested by Hluhluwe SAPS in a joint clampdown operation.

Last Friday’s operation, which included a roadblock in which 135 vehicles were searched, also led to 10 traffic charges being issued.

Hluhluwe SAPS, traffic police and military reservists participated in the joint operation.
