AFTER attending a Christmas concert and play at a Bay pre-school recently, I was expecting to leave with joy in my heart and happiness in my soul.
That did not happen. The whole occasion was ruined by parents not doing their jobs.
Little children were running up and down the corridors screaming and shouting their heads off.
Parents with babies, who I understand do cry unexpectedly, would not take the children out of the hall but remained with the screaming baby and spoilt the evening for not only the audience, but also the little children trying to perform the concert.
It is your job as parents to look after your children and to teach them to respect others.
How can children learn respect and grow up as decent citizens when their parents do not show it themselves.
We need discipline in schools, universities and in the workplace, but it starts at home.
Please parents, educate and teach your children. The world does not revolve initially around your precious little one. Think of others too.
