THE ever popular Empangeni Bowling Club Two Bowl Trips competition will kick off in six weeks’ time on 16 January and should you wish to be involved in this fun tournament you would be well advised to get your entries in by 17 December.
Entry fee of R450 per team may be paid to Empangeni Bowling Club at Standard Bank, Empangeni, a/c No 062035207, code 057530 and should be confirmed to Casey Meyer on cell number 083 6411999.
It should be remembered that each team must have at least one non-bowler.
Entry fee includes green fees, session prizes, snacks, specials on drinks and a whole lot more.
This Sunday Mtunzini Bowling Club will be hosting its annual mixed fours Turkey Day, and then on Monday, 16 December, it will be the turn of Richards Bay when ‘Terry’s Turkey Day’ will be played.
This is also a mixed fours tournament costing R240 per team and entries may be phoned to Dirk Norval on 076 7951566.
It is no small wonder that turkeys are unlikely to vote for Christmas.
