Cattle pose problems for residents

With plenty of rain having fallen over the past months, residents believe there is no need for herders to bring their cattle into town

CATTLE encroaching on streets and pavements in the heart of Meerensee continue to present problems for residents.

On Sunday afternoon, a herd calmly grazed in the main shopping area around Angler’s Rod and Krewelkring roads, endangering traffic and depositing manure.

With plenty of rain having fallen over the past months, residents believe there is no need for herders to bring their cattle into town.
