Invisible actors take to the stage

Local actors to perform a great revue for eShowe and Mtunzini audiences

THE Invisible Theatre Company is back!

Following its sold-out hit show, The Oldest Game in Town a few years ago, the company will be performing a new revue Risque Business.

The show hits the planks from Thursday to Saturday, (12 to 14 April) at the eShowe High School and at the Mtunzini Primary School on Friday, 20 April.

The audience can expect to see the usual suspects, enhanced by the sparkling talents of some new discoveries from the eShowe community.

The story

Famed operatic producer Harold Hardcastle (Ossie Meyer) needs money for his future production of ‘Gotterdammerung’ and the only person who will give it to him is 93-year-old billionaire Wordsworth Worthington III (Henry Bird).

In exchange, Harold has to stage a cabaret starring Worthington’s beloved daughter, Ethelinda (Ida Gartrell).

Unfortunately, Harold knows nothing about cabaret and his stage manager (Alwyn Schultz) and production team have to ‘steer him right’.

The word has gone out to theatrical agencies and a strange and wonderful assortment of talent comes to audition.

The audience is shown what really happens when you try to put a show together.
