King Cetshwayo District calls for water saving

In her keynote address the District Mayor Cllr Nonhle Mkhulisi spoke to community members about the importance of saving water

WATER is a precious commodity that should be respected.

This was the message when the King Cetshwayo District Municipality – in partnership with the National Department of Water and Sanitation, National Department of Environmental Affairs, KZN Department of Economic Development, Tourism & Environmental Affairs, RBIDZ and uMfolozi Local Municipality – hosted a commemoration of Water Week at Ezindonini in uMfolozi last week.

In her keynote address the District Mayor Cllr Nonhle Mkhulisi spoke to community members about the importance of saving water.

The leadership later handed over buckets, trees to be planted, mugs and water tanks to four schools around the area.
