Selection dilemma for NRB coach
Speaking after the side’s superb 1-0 victory over TTM last weekend, Losciuto said ‘who to leave out’ presented the biggest poser
RICHARDS Bay FC head coach Jean Losciuto has some tough selection decisions to make when he names his side for Saturday’s home fixture against Jomo Cosmos.
Speaking after the side’s superb 1-0 victory over TTM last weekend, Losciuto said ‘who to leave out’ presented the biggest poser.
‘Every single player is fighting for a place now – and deserves one, which is great for a coach, but bad luck for anyone who is not chosen.
‘Against TTM the squad performed fantastically in every aspect of the game; there was not a weakness on the field and the discipline and commitment were awesome,’ said Losciuto.
‘Each player knew his role and performed it according to all the instructions.
‘We are going to carry that spirit against Cosmos on Saturday and into all our remaining fixtures.’
Coming off wins in their last two NFD encounters, the NRB boys are fired up and are keen to garner as many of the 18 remaining log points as possible.
Now lying in 11th place, they could certainly climb into the top third of the 16-team league.
A good crowd of supporters at the uMhlathuze Stadium on Saturday will help them in that quest.
