New Empangeni CPF committee elected

A NEW Community Policing Forum (CPF) Steering Committee was on Monday night elected at the Emapangeni Town Hall.

While the turnout was somewhat dismal, about 40 concerned residents pitched up to vote in their new CPF committee.

The newly elected members will now be in charge of spearheading the Empangeni CPF and finalising the process, together with Empangeni Station Commander, Brigadier Jeros Thango, of electing a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Treasurer.
