Transnet opens ports market to new entrants
Project funders are also encouraged to attend the roadshows
TRANSNET National Ports Authority (TNPA) is hosting a series of information-sharing roadshows as it opens the ports market to new entrants.
The aim of the roadshows is to acquaint potential bidders, interested parties and funders with port concession opportunities and bidding requirements.
The roadshow’s first port of call is Richards Bay on Monday at Premier Hotel The Richards from 8am to 11am.
‘These roadshows are about educating the market and attracting prospective partners with the aim of fostering transformation within this space,’ said Lauriette Sesoko, TNPA General Manager: Commercial and Marketing.
