District condemns fake job scams
District Director for Education David Chonco lambasted those using the DoE as a means to advertise fake job positions
POLICE and the King Cetshwayo District Department of Education (DoE) have warned the public against falling victim to fake job posts.
This comes after local police have been inundated with cases of people being defrauded, paying money to scammers who claim they can secure jobs.
‘We have been dealing with many such fraud cases. People advertise fake job posts, especially involving the Department of Education, and ask applicants to pay them a sum of cash to secure employment,’ said King Cetshwayo Cluster Police spokesperson, Capt Mbongeni Mdlalose.
