Tea-riffic fund-raiser – save the date!

DON a fine hat, put on a frock, gather your friends and share a cup of tea while raising funds for a worthy cause in our area.

The DICE (Do I Care Enough?) sixth annual Tea On The Terrace is a riot of colour, and each year brings friends together as they decorate, bake, brew and ching-ching their mugs in The Dome at the Umfolozi Casino Resort in Empangeni.

This year it is taking place on Saturday, 21 April and raises funds specifically for financially-challenged cancer patients who are unable to fund accommodation during their treatment at Richards Bay oncology centres.

‘Those hosting tables will be responsible for inviting their guests, providing a theme, decor and catering for their tables and then showcasing their beautiful tables for judging by the guests on the day,’ said DICE Committee Member Marilyn Muller.

The Ubuntu Floating Trophy is up for grabs with the winning table announced during the programme.

The cost is R1 000 per table, with all proceeds going to DICE.
